Our mission
High-fidelity simulation has traditionally required expensive proprietary hardware that constrains educators to simulation labs and make mobile teaching cumbersome. Simorio exists to change that. We believe realistic, physiologically accurate simulation should be available in any learning environment, on any device, anywhere an educator and a learner find themselves — whether that's a lecture hall, a break room, or the back of an ambulance.
What Simorio is
Simorio renders authentic cardiac rhythms, SpO₂ tracings, end-tidal capnography, blood pressure, temperature, and arterial blood pressure tracings, in real time. The waveforms are generated from physiologic models, not pre-recorded images, so rate changes unfold naturally and therapies produce realistic responses.
Instructors host a session with a 6-digit room code. Learners join on any device — phones, tablets, laptops — as clinicians or observers. Every action is timestamped and recorded so the whole encounter can be replayed and debriefed after the fact in our robust encounter replay interface.
Custom scenarios can be crafted to account for any clinical encounter. Our visual editor allows the creation of branching scenarios that respond directly to learner actions automatically. Each stage sets the patient's rhythm and vitals, then transitions based on what the team does or doesn't do. Instructors simply notate student actions and the scenario progresses organically. Prebuilt templates are available for common presentations.
